By Randy Rutherford - Staff Writer | Mar 2, 2022

Destiny Rone

Under the direction of Head Coach Mike Owens and Assistant Coach Mike Shreves the Paden City High School Wrestling team made great strides towards rebuilding the program in 2021-2022. The Wildcats had 10 wrestlers on team this year up from only four a year ago. Several wrestlers turned in good years with Jasup Spragg and Ashton Little both finishing 5th in the region. Destiny Rone became the first female wrestler in school history to place at the Girls State Tournament. Look for continued improvement in the program in the years to come.
