Case Landis Makes his Move to Victory

The Tyler Consolidated Silver Knights will be sending five wrestlers to Huntington, WV to compete in the state wrestling tournament. Trenton Huffman (2nd place), Sean Winfrey (2nd place), Case Landis (2nd place), Kaden Huffman (3rd place) and Raustyn Wade (4th place) will represent the Silver Knights to conclude their season March 3rd-5th at Mountain Health Arena. The Knights also have three alternates that are on standby in case they are called up to compete in the tournament. Overall team finish for the Knights in Region 1 A/AA was sixth.

“Myself, Coach Mckeever, and Coach Peters are proud of how our team performed and represented themselves at the regional tournament. Many of our wrestlers finished on a good note and I am very impressed with the growth they have made throughout the season. We are confident that our five qualifiers will be ready for this next challenge and can have have much success on the mats in Huntington. This moment is what he have been working towards all year and hopefully all the hard work and commitment pays off,” said an excited Coach Paden Morris.
