The Tycon Knights Sweep Braxton County

The Tycon Knights A, B and C teams opened the regular season defeating Braxton County. The A team defeated Braxton 20-6. The B team won 38-6 and the C team won 19-0.

Leading the C team for the Knights was Cruze Thomas, rushing for 227 yards, forcing two fumbles, one fumble recovery, and five tackles. Also contributing was Evan Deaton with five yards rushing and two tackles, David Headly with four tackles and five yards rushing and Cam Starkey with two tackles and one fumble recovery, Wyatt Owens with three yards rushing. Defensively the Knights were led by several different players including Marshall Rudder with one tackle, and Koen Blatt with one tackle.

The B Team was led on offense by Benny Winfrey with eight carries for 94 yards and two touchdowns, Crosby VanCamp with 11 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns and an extra point,Wyatt Dunlap had seven carries for 81 yards and one touchdown. He also had 46 yards in kickoff returns. Jackson Sailor had six carries of 20 yards and one touchdown, Ashton Sandy three carries for 11 yards and Kayden Sickles two carries for six yards. Defensively for the Knights Bryson Roberts had one fumble recovery and two tackles, Paten Haynes had one forced fumble and three tackles, Jacob Leek had one tackle, Zack Goddard with two tackles, Marshall Weekley one tackle, Ashton Sandy one tackle, and Wayatt Dunlap with one tackle.

The final game of the day was the A team led on offense by Kyle Satterfield wit 28 carries for 147 yards, Arron Peck with 2 carries for 30 yards, Israel Winfrey with one carry for 29 yards, Kolbin Highley six carries six yards and Heath Mason one carry two yards.

For the game the Knights racked up 214 yards of offense. Defensively for the Knights Kyle Sattlerfield led the team with 5 tackles followed by Austin Peck with four, Israel Winfrey, Peyton Kilburn and Heath Mason all with three tackles.
