Tyler Consolidated High School’s boys basketball team participated in the Rotary Classic Tournament in New Martinsville on Feb. 6, falling to Bishop Donahue, 67-51 in a close contest. Donahue got out to an early lead in the game, but sure shooting and an aggressive defense helped the Knights pull within reaching distance, but they never quite took the lead in the loss.

Freshman Jace Reed led the Silver with 15 points. Kordell Stewart scored 11 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

The Knights played at Ravenswood on Feb. 7, taking the loss 74-36 at the hands of the Red Devils.

The Silver Knights will look to get at least a couple more games under their belts before Sectionals begin in March with co-operation from local weathermen, including a game at St. Marys on Feb. 18 and an LKC play-off opportunity on Feb. 20.
