Cee Bee’s hand Paden City third loss, 48-14
On the road for the first time this season, the Paden City Wildcats met up with the Clay Battelle Cee Bee’s on Friday in Monongalia County. Unfortunately, it was the third loss of the year for Green and White to the tune of 48-14.
“We were just to inexperienced to give them much of a game,” said Paden City head coach, Brent Croasmun. “And they were a good ball team.”
Offensively, Geoffrey Bidwell rushed 23 times for the ‘Cats and gained 103 yards, scored one touchdown and one two-point conversion. James Baker ran the ball 11 times for the Green for 59 yards and one TD; and Matt Barker gained 21 yards on three carries.
Defensively, Trey Leonard led the team with 11 tackles, one for a loss; Jamie Billiter had nine tackles, one for a loss; Keith Hardbarger was credited with seven tackles, one for a loss and one fumble cause; and Kyle McFadden recovered two fumbles.
On Friday the Wildcats travel to Gilmer County to take on the Titans (0-3).
