Senior Jaedyn Gump

The Tyler Consolidated Silver Knights softball team is gearing up for the 2025 season under the guidance of first-year head coach Stan Dennis and assistant coach Shannon Huffman. With a solid group of senior leaders and valuable early-season experience, the Knights are setting their sights on a successful campaign.

The team will look for leadership from seniors Lexus Rocchio, Hailey Sandy, and Jaedyn Gump. Sandy is expected to shoulder most of the pitching duties this season, while Gump and Rochio will provide versatility, contributing at multiple positions throughout the year.

Coaches Dennis and Huffman have wasted no time preparing the squad, completing two scrimmages this past weekend against a tough Parkersburg South team, followed by a JV scrimmage against Williamstown on Monday. The Silver Knights will close out their preseason with a varsity scrimmage against Valley and Williamstown before turning their attention to the regular season.

Tyler Consolidated will open the season on Wednesday, March 19, on the road against Magnolia in New Martinsville. The first pitch is set for 5:30 p.m.
