March signals the end of basketball and the beginning of baseball for Tyler Consolidated and the Silver knights wasted little time preparing for the up-coming season holding two scrimmages against River and Monroe Central.

It was an opportunity for Head Coach Rob Jones to gain valuable experience for all kids on the roster. The scrimmages gave the coaching staff the chance to evaluate each player in the program extensively and start building their team.

“We found some weaknesses to target in practice and also had many positives as a team and for the guys individually,” said Coach Jones. The Silver Knights will be led by seniors Nate Deaton, Isaac Jackson, Gabriel Jackson and Colby Nichols.
