Silver Knights End Season at Williamstown

Brody Giovinazzo hits the open shot.
The Tyler Consolidated boys basketball season came to an end in the regional co-final against Williamstown on Wednesday, March 12 on the road in Williamstown.
The No. 2 ranked Yellow Jackets wasted little time jumping out to an early 20-7 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 70-37 victory. The Silver Knights found the going tough against a strong pressing defense by the Jackets and could only manage 14 points by halftime. Williamstown will now move on to the state finals in Charleston.
Brady Strode finished his career with the Knights scoring 17 points followed by brother Cam with eight. Brody Giovinazzo and Kolbin Highley each added five points. The Silver and Black finished the season with an 11-13 record. Good news for the Knights as they will return the entire team for next season but will miss their only senior in high scoring Brady Strode.
