Silver Knights Fall to Williamstown
Tyler Consolidated traveled to Williamstown to take on the Yellow Jackets in boys basketball action on Wednesday January 15 and came home on the short end by the score of 65-43. A close first quarter had the Knights trailin only by one at 13-12 but Willimastown would find their shooting range in the second quarter outscoring the Knights 23-6 to take a big halftime lead of 36-18. The lead was to much to overcome in the second half and moved the Silver Knights record to 3-4 going into the Boggs Roundball Classic to be held on January 17 and 18 at the Castle. Tyler was led by Brady Strode with nine points followed by Cole Lemasters and Garrett Bordenkircher each with eight points. Landon Boggs would chip in with seven points and Brody Giovonazzo and Austin Peck would round out the scoring with five points each.
The Silver Knights will look to rebound with a victory in the first round of the Boggs Roundball when they meet rival Magnolia.
