Friday Night Lights

Friday night lights: Tyler Consolidated (4-3) will travel to South Harrison (6-0) to tackle the Hawks tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Paden City (1-5) will play Hannan (1-6) at 7 p.m. tonight at the Berger Field – Homecoming.

In other area sports action, Josh Frum and Jahnvi Duncan led the Silver Knights at the LKC Championship on Thursday in Ritchie County.

The Silver Knights and the Wildcats brawled Thursday in quad volleyball match at TCHS, the Knights came out ahead 25-10 and 25-9 to improve to 32-9 for the season while the Wildcats fell to 21-12.

Speaking of volleyball, the TCHS has qualified for both the OVAC Tournament and the LKC Night of Champions this season.

Fort Frye knocked down the Knights, a number 3 seed in Class AAA, by 3-2 sets to advance to the championship match Saturday.

That said, the Knights will play the LKC Tournament beginning Oct. 20.

TCHS boys soccer lost 4-0 to Williamstown, but will play their final regular season match 12 p.m. Saturday against Fairmont Senior on the road.
