Michael Wayne Eddy

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael Wayne Eddy, 60, of Elk Fork Tyler County, WV on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

He fought a lengthy and courageous battle with lung cancer, COPD, and many other health complications. He passed away at his home with his faithful daughter, Tiffany and son-in-law, Josh by his side.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Abigail Sue Eddy of Middlebourne, WV, Tiffany Lynn (Joshua Young) Eddy of Paden City, WV; brother, Robert (Teresa) Eddy of Middlebourne, WV; grandchildren, Aubrey Young, Adelynn Young, Ariella Young and several great aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, David Lee and Patty Sue (Minger) Eddy along with many other family members.

Mike was a retired electrician, his hobbies included searching for arrowheads. He loved cars, mainly Mustangs, which he shared with Abi and Aubrey, he adored his family and the time he spent with them.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Furbee Williams Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Middlebourne. Burial service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Simpson Cemetery on Elk Fork.
