Anna “Blanch” Cline
Anna “Blanch” Cline, 88, of Middlebourne, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
She was born on October 7, 1936, in West Union, WV daughter of the late Lewis and Isabell (Jenkins) Carpenter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rick Doak of Greenwood, WV and Perry “Jr” Haught of Wilbur; step children, Patsy Bembry of VA, Bill Cline of Wick, WV and Randy Cline; siblings, Goldie (Don) Cogar of Pennsylvania, Lois (Clem) Murphy of West Union, WV, William P. (Sharon) Carpenter of Baltimore, MD, Archie (Cindy) Carpenter of Virginia, Sherry (Lawrence) Dean of Buckhannon, WV, Steve Carpenter of Lost Creek, WV, James (Jama) Carpenter of Grafton, WV; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Cline; son, William Doak and sister, Helne Cogar.
Blanch went to Doddridge County High School. She worked at the West Union Garment Factory and retired from the Tyler County Board of Education as a bus operator. Hobbies included camping, traveling, cooking, gardening and was an avid reader. The center of her focus was loving her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends received 4-7 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Furbee Williams Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Middlebourne where funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025 with burial to follow in the Wilbur Cemetery in Wilbur, WV.
