Ronald P. Hamilton

Ronald P. Hamilton, 83, of Middlebourne, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his residence.

Ronald was born November 16, 1941 in Inez, KY a son of the late Gail and Carine (Cassidy) Hamilton. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army that served in the Bay of Pigs Invasion. He worked as a security guard for Massey of Eastern Kentucky and also worked as a machinist for Apex Corp. He loved hunting and fishing and doing body work on old cars.

He is survived by his sons, Brian Hamilton of Indiana and Steve Michael Hamilton of Middlebourne, WV; step son, Troy James Preece of KY; grandson, Chad Hamilton of Middlebourne, WV; two step grandchildren, Mason Bolen of Morgantown, WV and Kathy Bolen of New Martinsville, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly (Stafford) Hamilton; step daughter, Debbie Bolen and brothers, Ed, Gus, Junior, Donnie, and Mick Hamilton.

Funeral services will be 1pm, Friday, January 17, 2025 at the McCullough Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV with Pastor Jason Fillmore officiating. Burial will take place at the Hamilton Family Cemetery on the family farm. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Friday.
