Jerry Keith Johnson

Jerry Keith Johnson, 84, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away October 27, 2024.

He was born in Sistersville, a son of Burl and Clarys Jemison Johnson.

Jerry was a United States Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Ranger. He then worked 39 years for Mobay/Bayer. Jerry was an avid lifetime member of Elk 333, a youth football and baseball coach, and he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie V. Johnson; three sons, Dave (Tammy) Johnson, Jim (Linda) Johnson, and Ted (Susie) Johnson; one stepson, Jamie Salay; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Maranee Bowen and Judy (Larry) Ferraro.

A graveside service with military honors by the VFW Post 6327 and graveside ritual by Elks Lodge 333 will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville with Pastor Jon Fox officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be sent to Elks National Foundation, 333 Charles St, Sistersville, WV 26175.
