Ribbon Cutting Held for Jackson’s Auto Repair

Butch Jackson started Jackson’s Auto Repair in 1993 on Clark Street in New Martinsville. Later he included towing and Jackson’s Used Cars. In October 2021, Butch and Wife Decinda Jackson purchased their new business location from Bill Forbes located at 299 Virginia Street, New Martinsville,WVa. housing their building front right along Rt. 2. They combined both businesses together in one location to be of better service and convenience to the community. Decinda Jackson stated, “having both businesses in one location makes it nice and having the extra space makes it very helpful.” “It just made sense to move all the businesses to this central location with more space,” stated Butch.

Jackson’s Auto Repair & Towing currently employees a seven truck fleet, in which they offer both roll off and wrecker services. Dylan Jackson, the manager of the garage advised they do any and all mechanical repairs including West Virginia state inspections, oil changes, and brake work. “We offer full service for your automobile. We can do anything from simple mechanical repairs to collison repairs,” stated Dylan Jackson. Mitch Wilcox manages the body shop; under Wilcox’s supervision, they do all types of collison repairs. “West Virginia winters can be hard on your vehicles interior or exterior . We also have detailing available onsite to keep your vehicle looking its best,” Decinda went on to state. Jackson’s also added U-Haul rentals to their line up which is managed by Kim Colmore. The Jackson family has made their new location a one stop shop for all your vehicle needs.

Jackson’s Auto Repair & Towing as well as Jackson’s Used Cars is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. They also offer Satuday hours for the U-Haul side of the business only.
