Your Stores: A Staple of The Community
With a world that’s constantly changing and moving forward, it can leave one feeling imbalanced. It’s been been said of humans many times that we are “creatures of habit.” This is one such reason that the most stable parts of one’s life are often the most adored. This statement is also applicable to one’s community life: a business or tradition that can be counted on consistently becomes a staple of the community. One such staple of our local community is Your Stores, located at the intersection of Routes 18 and 180, in Tyler County.
Your Stores’ owner Jim Underwood has been consistently serving the community for several years in a variety of ways. In the past, the business featured crafts as well as antiques. Jim was also involved in small engine and auto repair work at one point during Your Stores existence. However, the business is now known as the place to go for U-Haul and storage unit rentals and, most currently, constructing buildings. Your Stores construction will include site prep work, stone compacting, installation of concrete work, and will be built to the customer’s spec.
As for the storage unit business, Your Stores offers storage units at its base location. It also offers units -and outside camper storage – at Friendly. Your Stores possesses four to five buildings total, with a total of approximately 73 units. Sizes range from 5×6 to 10×10, and 10×15. The cost ranges from $25 to $100 a month.
While the business has seen many changes over time, including changing products and services, Underwood has most definitely never steered away from personal and reliable service, and has continued to be a consistent and stable part of the area.
To reserve a U-Haul or inquire about storage or building construction, call Jim Underwood’s business at 304-758-4001. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Your Stores can check availability of the U-Haul needed, give rates, and make reservations.
