Preschool classes at Sistersville Elementary School recently had the opportunity to participate in two separate Christmas painting projects. This was as the result of an act of kindness performed by the Tyler Consolidated School Climate Committee and Miss Knight (Katelyn Stillwagoner.)

In a Powerpoint made by Stillwagoner for her final in the High School College Psychology Class, she talked about the experience of this “act of kindess.”

Stillwagoner and her fellow students worked with the preschool classes on two painting projects. They reportedly made Santa belly flower pots and Christmas ornaments with the children.

“We did this to get the kids in the Christmas Spirit and to involve ourselves in our community.” Stillwagoner explained.

She also expressed, “I felt amazing after spending time with these kids and doing painting activities with them. They were so excited to see us and to get to paint. It was great to represent my title as Miss Knight and to see all the smiles on their faces.”
