The Tyler County Sheriff’s Department and the Sistersville Police Department once again sponsored Shop with a Cop in light of the Holiday Season.

17 elementary school aged children were transported to the New Martinsville Walmart where they were greeted by smiling faces of officers from the Sheriff’s office, police department, and the State Police. The departments fundraise throughout the year to make this event a possibility for the students.

Each student was given a total limit of $250 dollars that could be used to buy items such as winter coats, clothes, and toys to help make their Christmas a special one.
