Scouts Provide Needed Work At Community Garden

In the heart of Sistersville, something special bloomed. It wasn’t just the tomatoes and sunflowers in the community garden located in the city park. It was the spirit of service and youth leadership brought to life by Scouts BSA Troop 175 from Middlebourne, West Virginia.
Troop 175, part of Scouting America, rolled up their sleeves and got to work. With shovels in hand and smiles on their faces, these young scouts poured their energy into helping with much needed work at the Sistersville Community Garden. Weeding, planting, repairing beds, and sprucing up paths, they tackled every task with determination.
Behind the scenes, Scoutmaster Tony Clark and Assistant Scoutmaster Kayla Shields guided the troop. Their leadership and commitment to community service were clear in every moment and set the tone by leading through example. With their help, the scouts didn’t just complete a project; they built pride in a job well done and a stronger bond with the Sistersville community.
To Troop 175, community garden organizers offer their heartfelt thanks. Your hard work made a real difference, and your presence left the garden better than you found it. The plants may fade with the seasons, but the impact of your visit will grow for a long time to come.
