On July 16th the Oglebay Good Zoo visited the Sistersville Public Library as part of the summer reading program, bringing along a variety of animals for children to observe and even touch if they were brave enough.

Zoo trainer Zach introduced the young audience to a corn snake, Reggie the opossum, and a tortoise offering fun facts and hands on opportunities. Reactions ranged from curious excitement to cautious hesitation, but overall the event was a hit with kids and parents alike.
