Ruth McIntyre celebrates turning 100.

On Thursday, July 25, Sistersville Center resident Ruth McIntyre celebrated her remarkable 100th birthday surrounded by family, friends, and staff.

To mark this special milestone, cupcakes were served, adding a sweet touch to the joyous occasion.

Ruth’s daughter, Sandy Hall shared that Ruth has spent many wonderful years in the communities of Elkins, Shinnston, and most recently New Martinsville. Her late husband, Argyle McIntyre, Jr., worked for the railroad which brought the family to New Martinsville. Ruth is a proud mother of five with many grandchildren and numerus great grandkids who continue to bring joy to her life.
