A beautiful spring evening greeted 74 Tyler Consolidated Seniors at the thirty-first annual Commencement of Tyler Consolidated High School on May 16, 2024 at Knights Stadium. The evening began with selections from the award-winning Silver Knight band followed by the Invocation by Addison Fletcher, Senior Class Secretary, and the welcome from Jaden Williams, Senior Class President. The salutation address was presented by Braeden Wall 2024 Salutatorian. Co-Valedictorian’s Jacob Lancaster and Kaylee Haught addressed the large crowd and fellow classmates with the valedictorian speeches. The VFW scholarship was presented to Braeden Wall by Jim Cavezza. Pam Stollings then presented the Adam Kelly Memorial Scholarship to Sydney Deaton.

The Presentation of Diplomas was handed out by the Tyler County Board of Education members Linda Hoover, Katrina Byers, Curtis Heintzman, Scott Strode, Larry Thomas and Superintendent Shane Highley. Following the presentation of diplomas the traditional turning of the tassels led by the Senior Class Officers took place.

The Benediction was given by Student Body Vice President Hayden Montgomery.

The evening concluded with the always popular and traditional tossing of the hats.
