The downtown streets of Sistersville were full of folks from around the area enjoying the Second Annual Fall Fling hosted by the Olive Branch and Friends Shop held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. Wells Street was closed to vehicle traffic from Charles Street to Diamond Street allowing 14 vendors and business owners to set up shop and greet pedestrians. Crowds enjoyed cooler weather while visiting the varied tables and booths set up along the route. This was the second year for the fling organized by Linda Hendrickson, owner of the Olive Branch and Friends Shop. Vendors participating were Pressed Oil of Gladness, Peaches & Co, Courtney’s Crafts and Logan Loot Corner, Holly’s Hobbies, Kay’s Towels, Shelia’s Homemade Yummy Dog Treats, Jacob Bucy Art, Paden City Church of God Youth Group, Delphine Shinn Jewelry, Moore’s Crafts by Erin, Scentsy, Sistersville Park & Pool, Sistersville Ferry and Dave Shelton’s Childrens Books.
