Local Artist in Action

The Tyler County Artisans first exhibit was held over Alumni weekend in Sistersville. These creative and talented folks from Tyler County displayed their work in oils, watercolors, pastels, acrylic and pencil. Artists participating were Sue Stone, Ann Hendley, Chris Hoke, Steve Morningstar, Deb Doig, May Doig Miller, Amy Melko, Hilda Steen, Dave Shelton, Ruth Helman, Alice LeMasters, and Theresa Drain. The exhibit enjoyed brisk visitation all weekend with the large number of visitors in town for the alumni celebration. The show was held at the corner of Wells and Charles Street, in the former location of the Olive Branch.
