William “Willy” Allen Darr

William “Willy” Allen Darr, 69, of Shirley, WV passed July 16, 2025 after a battle with cancer with his wife holding his hand.

Willy was born July 21, 1955, in Bethesda, MD son of Elizabeth Hummer of Tappahannock, VA and the late Richard Darr.

He was a retired repairman for the former Sears Co., he enjoyed camping, fishing, visiting his momma and traveling. Willy was a member of the Shirley Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Richard Darr, Wayne Darr and Bonnie Darr.

Surviving is his wife of five years, Connie (Bland) Darr of Shirley, WV; four children, Karen Allen of Spotsylvania, VA, Billie (Shawn) Russell of VA, Willy Darr, Jr. of King, VA and Timmy (Angela) Darr of Fairfax, VA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Robert Darr of Tappahannock, VA, Karen (L.A.) Reason of VA and Patrica (Greg) of Culpeper, VA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Willy’s request there will be no services.
