Lady Knights Defeat Paden City Fall to St Marys

The Tyler Consolidated Girls Basketball Team experienced both sides of lopsided games last week when they defeated Paden City on Monday December 16 by the score of 88-14 and fell on Friday December 20 to St Marys by the score of 74-26.

Twelve different Knights hit the scoring column against Paden City with Katie Grimm leading the way with 22 points, Riley Stover scoring 16 and Addison Reed with 11. Jules Lattea and Andi Fiber each had eight points while Macie Highley and Faith Lemasters added four points apiece. The second half saw mainly the JV girls seeing the floor with Taylor Donaldson with five, Jayden Thomas with four and Sloane Wall, Leia Headley and Zoe Fisher with two points each.

The Lady Knights offense stalled on Friday against the Lady Blue Devils in St Marys. Faith Lemasters and Juls Lattea led the scoring with eight and six points respectively. Ryland Henderson chipped in with five points. Katie Grimm and Andi Fiber were held to only two points for the Lady Knights.

Next up for the Lady Knights is the Marietta Tournament in Marietta on December 27 and 28. They are also on the road at Wheeling Central on December 30.
