Third grade students at Paden City Elementary School are developing their critical thinking skills by cracking “codes” as part of the educational puzzle platform, Breakout Edu. The students solved a series of puzzles based on Peter Reynolds’ book, The Dot to celebrate International Dot Day coming up on September 15th. Students solved puzzles to crack three-digit and four-digit codes, as well as color and letter codes, to open the box to discover their “creativity” with an extension art activity.
