Arianna with the 1st Place Trophy at the 10U World Series Columbus

Sistersville’s own, Arianna Henthorn, was selected to play in the USSSA All American Softball Games this past week in Viera, Florida. Arianna was a direct invite in the Northeast region, which means she was one of the top two scores in the Pittsburgh tryout. The Northeast region encompasses 14 states with only three tryouts across the region. There were over 1900 athletes trying out across the country, and Arianna was one of the 96 athletes to receive a direct invite in the 10U division. Her team ended up finishing in third place in the 10U division, and Arianna represented well. She was a leader on the team in many stats with a .375 batting average, 91 QAB percentage .455 0BP, and a 1.00 fielding percentage.  Arianna had a great experience and met elite players from all across the country allowing her to build lifelong lasting friendships.

This was not her first success story as she also played outfield for the Columbus Ohio Outlaws. Her team placed first in the 10U division in the softball World Series at Berliner. Arianna will be going into the sixth grade at Tyler Consolidated Middle School this fall.
