Four Tyler Consolidated Runners Compete in USATF National Junior Olympic CC Championship

By Ed Parsons - Editor | Dec 31, 2025

On Saturday, December 13, Amos Kimble, Brody Nice, Jake Henderson and Travis Moore braved the snow in Shelbyville, Indiana in the 2025 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship. All four runners represented Tyler Consolidated well, with Kimble coming in with a 3rd place and Moore a 15th place in their division.

All four runners competed for Tyler Consolidated cross country this past season and qualified for the WV State Cross Country Championships, with Kimble winning gold in the Class AA Division. The dedication of these runners has made the Silver Knights cross country program respected throughout the area.

It’s taking part in opportunities like this that helps build a program and sets the example for kids to follow.

Kimble will be taking his energy and skill to the next level next season when he runs for the NCAA Division 1 Thundering Herd of Marshall.

Keep your eyes on the Knights high school program as they strive to be one of the best in West Virginia.
