Enthusiasm was high as the Tyler Consolidated Silver Knights football team is preparing for the up-coming season working out on Tuesday and Thursday taking advantage of their flex days. I stopped by practice last week and they were busy working on line drills while the backs and receivers were working on passing drills. The Knights will travel to two seven on seven scrimmages on June 19 at Frontier High School and on July 15 at Williamstown. Flex days are not mandatory but from the amount of players participating, the Knights look strong going into 2026.

Coach Kyle Ritz and his staff are very happy with the effort the kids are showing building lasting relationships with an immediate goal of winning their opener.
