The Tyler Consolidated Lady Knights said good-bye to two seniors on senior night on Monday April 27 with a victory over the Valley Lumberjills by the score of 8-6. Honored were seniors Macy Shuman and Izzie Murray as they rounded the bases to meet their parents at home plate. In a final tribute the girls played catch with their dads prior to the game.

The Lady Knights offense was on fire as they pounded out 12 hits on 29 at bats with Izzie Murray and Holly Johnson contributing with 6 RBI’s between them. Murray would also go three for four at the plate scoring one run. Also strong at the plate was Faith Lemasters with three hits in four attempts. The Knights would score five runs in the third inning to take the lead 5-2. Valley would rally in the top of sixth scoring three runs to tie the score 5-5 but the Lady Knights came up big in the bottom of the sixth scoring three runs to secure the victory. Isabella Pratt picked up the win on the mound going the distance and striking out seven.
