The Lady Knights won in dramatic fashion on Thursday April 23, defeating Roane County in walk off fashion in the bottom of the seventh by the score of 9-8 in an LKC placement game. Tied 2-2 after the first inning the Knights scored four runs in the second to lead 6-4 heading to the third. Each team would add a run in the fourth with Roane County scoring two in the sixth and one in the seventh to lead 8-7 setting up the bottom of the seventh. With the score tied at seven Izzie Murray stepped to the plate with the winning run on third and delivered a single between third base and shortstop driving in the winning run.

The Knights offense came to life with 13 hits led by Holly Johnson and Stevie Torman each going three for four and scoring a combined five runs. They were backed up by Izzie Murray and Macey Shuman both going two for three. Faith Lemasters and Makayla Farrell each chipped in with one hit apiece. Isabella Pratt picked up the win on the mound for the Lady Knights.
