The Tyler Consolidated Silver Knights wasted little time in their trip to Pine Grove defeating the Lumberjacks 13-0 in the five inning mercy rule game in baseball action on Monday, April 20. Behind the pitching of Brayden Neff, who only allowed two Valley hits, striking out 12, the Knights pounded out 12 hits in 26 at bats. Tyler jumped out to a 1-0 lead after the first inning but added four more in the second, three in the third and five in the fourth to wrap up the victory. Leading the way for the Knights was Ashton Morris going three for four scoring three runs and adding two RBI’s. Reese Davis and Patrick Jones each chipped in with two hits apiece. Also hitting the one hit column was Brayden Neff, Peyton Baker, Brooks Blosser, Brennon Miller and Pierson Hayes.
