The Silver Knights Fall at Home to Williamstown
The Williamstown Yellow Jackets paid a visit to the Silver Knights home field and defeated the Knights 4-0 on Tuesday, March 24 in baseball action. The Knights were unable to get their offense in gear and only managed five hits against Williamstown pitching. Falling behind 1-0 after the first inning the game remained scoreless until the sixth when the Yellowjackets added another run to lead 2-0 headed to the seventh. The hosts scored two more insurance runs in the top of the seventh to secure the victory.
Landon Boggs led the Knights with two hits in three at bats. Brayden Neff, Reese Davis and Brennon Miller each had one hit. Reese Davis went five innings on the mound for the Knights striking out two to take the loss. With the loss the Knights record fell to 2-3 on the young season.
