Pre-Scrimmage Warm Ups

The 2021-2022 Tyler Consolidated Silver Knight Wrestling program held their Meet the Team and inter-squad scrimmage on Saturday, December 4 at the High School. The Silver Knights, with 18 wrestlers, will begin the season on December 8 at 6 pm with a quad match featuring Number 1 Ranked Cameron and Number 2 Ranked Tyler Consolidated. Magnolia and Weirton Madonna make up the other two teams and will make for an exciting opener.. The Silver Knights will also be honoring Seniors Case Landis, Danny McCune, Mya Anderson and Steven Judge.

Leading the way for the Silver Knights this year are returning 2021 state qualifiers Case Landis, Sean Winfrey, Trenton Huffman, Kaden Huffman and Danny McCune.

Quoting Head Coach Paden Morris, “Today was a fun and exciting day for our team to take the mat for the first time and showcase what they have been working hard at for the past several weeks. We saw a lot of great things but also things we know we need to improve upon. Our competition season is just around the corner and this was just another step on that ladder to prepare for what comes next.”
