Zade Billings Prepares to Make a Move

The Silver Knights faced off with Parkersburg Catholic on Thursday September 16 and went down to defeat by the score of 5-0. Sophomore Owen Westbrook started his first varsity game in goal and played well in a closely contested loss. On Sept. 14, the Knights lost at home to Wheeling Central 10-0. So far this season, Junior Captain Brody Seckman is leading the team with 3 goals. Sophomore Ashton Jackson has 1 goal in his first season playing soccer.

It has been an uphill battle for the Knights with only 5 returning players and 15 new players. “We are very young but we are working hard, improving every practice and look to have a strong finish to our season,” said Head Coach Ryan Miglino

The Knights will play Parkersburg South on Tuesday September 21 at home at 6:30 PM and South Harrison away on Thursday the 23rd at 6 PM. Games with St Marys have been rescheduled for Oct 7 at home at 6:30 and at St Marys on Oct 16 at 10 AM.
