Wildcats Drop Match To Frontier To Go 1-2

Paden City traveled to Frontier on Wednesday looking to get a win, but the Cougars came back from an early defeat to upend the Cat’s three sets to one to take the match.

Paden City started out strong winning set one 25-21, before the Cougars regrouped and gained the momentum to take the next three sets 20-25, 12-25, and 18-25.

Leading the way for the Wildcats was McKenzie Thomas who filled the stat book with 10 service points including six aces, while offering up 19 assists, 4 kills, and 13 digs. She was backed on the night by Brandis Dalrymple with 2 points, 15 kills at the net, 9 digs and 1 assist. Madi Kline cane in with 6 service points, 5 kills, and 3 digs.

Alyssa Phillips added 8 service points including 3 aces, 17 digs, 2 assists and a kill.

Carlee Sweeney played a good match with 10 digs, 4 assists, and an ace for a service point. Haley Walton pitched in with 3 kills, while Mallory Dennis looked good with 4 points frm the servie line and 3 digs.

Isabella Snider added 4 assist, and a dig to round out the stats for Paden City.
