TC Midnight Run with Glo-Necklaces

Midnight Madness started in 2009 at the suggestion of one of our seniors, who wanted to be the first team on the floor to start the season. This started a tradition that has lasted for twelve years. At the time TCHS was the only school that had a Midnight Madness but in recent years some schools in different sports have one.

The girls do a variety of activities in addition to practicing volleyball, such as a Glo-Run, different types of competitions, and creating a craft that relates to the season.

“We have been blessed with great volleyball moms who arrive at the school around 5:30 am to feed the girls breakfast in the morning. We do it for the girls as they love it. But it about kills their coaches. Any other night of the year we are in bed before 10:00 pm.” said Caoch Summers.
