Nora Parsons on hole number six at St. Mary’s Golf Course

Within a few days of each other, Nora Parsons and Duane Goddard both hit a hole in one!

Nora Parsons achieved her dream of a hole in one on number six at St. Mary’s Golf Course on July 13, 2021. Parsons used a 7-iron and hit the ball a total of 95 yards, as witnessed by Judy McCauley and Sue Mahaney. This was her very first hole in one after 25 years of effort, she announced.

Duane Goddard proudly achieved a hole in one at Riverside Golf Course in Sardis, Ohio on July 11, 2021. Goddard used an 8-iron on hole number 15, which is 145 yards from tee to green. Mike Justice, Darrin Potts and Vick Dye witnessed the impressive shot made by Goddard.

According to the PGA, the odds of scoring a hole in one are 12,500 to 1. Congratulations to both of these excellent golfers on their achievements and best wishes for even more aces in the future.
