Tyler Girls Softball Defeat Ravenswood

On Saturday, May 22 the Lady Knights of Tyler Consolidated defeated Ravenswood in a close game 7-6 in eight innings. Leading the Knight at the plate was Leah Loudin going two for four with one RBI and Briann Templeton who was three for four with one RBI. Maddie Ice also drove in one run going two for two at the plate. Braeden Wall picked up the win for Tyler going eight innings giving up 13 hits and six runs while walking one.

TCHS Girls Defeated By Buffalo

Tyler Consolidated Girls had a long bus ride home on Friday, May 21 after being defeated in a double header by Buffalo by the final score of 7-4 and 10-2. In game 1 The Knights bats were held in check by Buffalo pitching only picking up seven hits in 31 at bats. Ashlee Spencer was two for four, and Briann Templeton two for four were the only bright spots for the Silver Knights.

In game 2 Audrey Dennis was one for three, Maddie Ice was one for two, Braeden Wall was two for two scoring one run. Sadie Nichols was one for two with one RBI. Lauren Templeton took the loss for the Silver Knights going four innings allowing seven hits and striking out three.

TCHS Girls Softball Split Double Header

TCHS Lady Knights played host to Wirt County in a double header on Monday, May 24 losing a close high-scoring game 10-9. Lauren Templeton and Braeden Wall combined on the mound for the Silver Knights holding the Tigers to only seven hits but surrendered 10 runs. Briann Templeton was two for five on the night with one RBI, Audrey Dennis was two for four and Sadie Nichols also two for four with two RBIs to lead the way for the Silver Knights.

Game 2 saw the Lady Knights pick up the win defeating Wirt County by a score of 7-3.

Braeden Wall went the distance getting the win on the mound giving up five hits and three runs. Ashley Spencer was three for four scoring two runs and also had three RBIs. Briann Templeton was two for four scoring one run and one RBI. Audrey Dennis was one for three scoring one run and had one RBI along with Maddie Ice who was one for four with one RBI.
