Rough night for Tyler Consolidated Girls Softball as they dropped a 15-1 decision to Wahama on Monday, May 3rd. Tyler’s bats were silenced with only two hits on the night against Wahama pitcher, M Lieving. Leah Loudin and Ashley Spencer each had one hit with Spencer providing one RBI.

TCHS Girls Suffer 2nd Straight Loss

Tyler Consolidated dropped a hard fought 6-3 decision to Doddridge County on Tuesday, May 4th. Each team scored two runs in the first inning but Tyler was only able to manage one run over the next six innings. Leading the Lady Knights was Leah Loudin going three for three at the plate and scoring one run. She was followed by Braedan Wall going one for three and one RBI and Sadie Nichols one for three. Also Ashley Spencer was one for three and Maddie Ice also collected one hit in three at bats.

Lady Knights Split Doubleheader with Williamstown

Tyler County Lady Knights girls softball faced off with Williamstown on Saturday, May 8 in a doubleheader on the Knights home field. Tyler took the first game by the score of 8-2 but lost the nightcap 6-5. Leading the Knights in hitting in game one was Leah Loudin with two singles Briann Templeton with a single and a double and two RBI. Audrey Dennis a single and one RBI. Also with RBI were Sadie Nichols and Mallory Westbrook.

Down 6-0 going into the sixth inning of game two, the Silver Knight Girls bats came alive, staging a huge comeback scoring two runs in the sixth and three runs in the seventh falling one run short losing 6-5. Braedan Wall got things started with a single followed by Lauren Templeton and Audrey Dennis both with hits. Templeton and Dennis led the team with 2 RBI each.
