Tyler Consolidated Boys Basketball Wins Big On Senior Night

Tyler Consolidated honored seven seniors basketball players and five senior cheerleaders on Senior Night at home against Paden City on April 13th and came away with a 77-34 victory.

Tyler placed four players in double figures led by Senior Trey Landis with 20 points.

Also scoring in double figures were Justin Bowman with 12, Haygen Baker with 15, and Caleb Strobe ending with 12 points. After a close first quarter the Silver Knights pulled away in the second half to take the win. Carson Palmer led the Wildcats with nine points. Tyler next plays at Wood County Christian on April 16th to close out the regular season. Paden City closes out the regular season at Doddridge on April 15th.

Silver Knights finish regular season with win over Wood County Christian

Tyler Consolidated took control early on Saturday and never let up as they crusied to a 71-24 victory over outmanned Wood County Christian in high school basketball. The Knights win left them at 10-8 on the season heading into sectional play.

Junior Caleb Strode led the way as he poured in a game high 19 points including a 3-pointer.

He also added 12 rebounds. Justin Bowman contributed 15 points for the Knights and dished out eight assists. Trey Landis added 14 and also had a double-double with 11 rebounds, in the balanced attack.

Rounding out the scoring for Tyler was James Cline with eigth, Zach Morris with four, Brayden Tallman with four, Conner Bailey with three, Haygen Baker with two, and Jackson Kibbey with two.
