TCHS Girls Basketball Falls To Williamstown

Tyler Consolidated fell behind early to a strong Lady Jackets team and were defeated by the score of 72-34. The Knights trailed at halftime 35-23 and were not able to muster a comeback verses a strong defensive effort by the Jackets in the second half. Lauren Templeton’s eight points and Caleigh Phillips six points led the Silver Knights whose record drops to 2-8. Williamstown was led by Nicole Reynolds with 20 points. Williamstown improved their record to 7-4. Tyler Consolidated will travel to St Marys on Friday March 26.

TCHS Girls Basketball Faces a Strong St Marys Team

Tyler Consolidated Girls Basketball Team traveled to St. Mary’s on Friday night March 26 and came away on the short end by the score of 63-31. Facing a very good Lady Blue Devil team whose record is now 11-1 and on Senior Night was to much for the Silver Knights to overcome. The Knights fell behind early and were down at halftime 26-16. It was all St Marys in the second half as they outscored the Knights 37-15. The Silver Knights were led by Lauren Templeton with 10 points. St. Mary’s was led by Senior Kylie Wright with 14 points and eight rebounds. Tyler next plays at home against Cameron on March 27 at noon followed by an away game at Ritchie County on March 29 at 6:00.

TCHS Girls Basketball Faces off with Cameron

Tyler Consolidated Girls Basketball team took on Cameron High School on Saturday, March 27 but came up short by the score of 51 to 25. Leading the way for the Lady Knights was Braedan Wall with eight points followed by Regan Smith with six and Lauren Templeton four. Cameron controled the game from the from the start taking a lead at halftime by the score of 32-16. Cameron was led in scoring by Lili Neely with 25 points and Ashlyn Vantasell with 18 points. Next up for the Knights is an away game with Ritchie County on Monday, March 29 at 6:00.
