Coach Virgil Wilkins:Hundred High school is well represented on the Wetzel/Tyler County All-Star Basketball team with Head Coach Virgil Wilkins being chosen as the Coach of the team and Coach of the year. Wilkins led the Hornets to their best season in many years

Captain Cody Soles: Heading up the Wetzel Chronicle and Tyler Star News All Area Boys Basketball Team is Hundred Hornet 6-1 senior Cody Soles. Cody is a 4-year HHS letterman that was the teams top scorer the last 2-years and has scored over 1,000-points during his 4-years at Hundred. He also was a great rebounder and shot blocker, while finishing second in assists and steals.

Logan Norris: Another outstanding Hornet senior Logan Norris has also been a 4-year letterman for the Hornets.

He was the teams second leading scorer as well as a big rebounder and was the leader both on and off the floor.

Jake Gamble: When you talk about Magnolia, you get Jake Gamble, a player that can do it all. He is a shooter, rebounder and a top defender the past 2-seasons. He too, is a 4-year letter winner at Magnolia.

Trevor Williamson: The same can be said of Devil-killer, sophomore guard Trevor Williamson. When the Eagles needed a big basket, Trevor and Jake were the guys their teammates looked for.

As a shooting guard, Williamson also takes it to the hole and has no fear. Trevor is a quiet player that comes ready to play.

Walter Joy: Three year letterman Walter Joy is a Paden City senior harp shooter who has worked his tail off the past several seasons. He is diffidently an out-side threat, that also has no fear about taking it to the hole, and is a great free throw shooter as well.

Walter is one of the teams top defender and rebounder too.

Joel Moore: Paden City freshman Joel Moore has been the leader in about every statistic you possibly have on a team. He along with Joy are 2-guys that will give you all they have and then some. Joel is a great leaper and as a guard out-jumps most teams they face day in and day out. He also gets at it on defense and along with Joy is a top notch out-side scorer as well.

Ryan Baker: The Valley Lumberjacks senior Ryan Baker can do it all. He has been a double-digit scorer the past several years, and can hit from the outside as well in the paint. At small forward, Ryan has no fear of taking it to the hole.

Abe Satterfield: Abe Satterfield is the team leader that gives you 100% game-after-game, and practice-after-practice. He is the glue that kept the team going. He leads by example. He is Mr. Do-It-All. He can shoot the rock from the out-side and can take it to the hole. He is the teams top assist leader and will do what ever it takes to compete with the big-dogs as well.

Stone Thompson: Across the river is River Pilot senior Stone Thompson. Stone is and out-side threat, that led the team from beyond the arch. He is a streak shooter that can put together double-digits just from beyond the arch every game. He is also a guy that will give you 100% in everything he does on and off the court.

Ty Long: The River Pilots don’t have to look very long to find a gem in freshman Ty Long. He is also a guy that will give you 100% every day. He owns the paint defensively offensively as well. Look for this player to be a player everyone will talk about in the years to come.
