St. Marys Dominates Tyler Consolidated

The Blue Devils manhandled the Knights on Friday night in St Marys jumping out to a 51-17 lead after three quarters to coast to the 31 point win. The Knights managed an 18-15 fourth quarter lead after St. Marys coach Howie Meeks cleared his bench.

The red hot Blue Devils improved their record to 5-1 with the win with a balanced scouring attack led by Lara Fetty who knocked in 15 points. Olivia Deweese contributed 12 and Josey Moore finished as their third double figure scorer with 11 markers.

The Silver Knights top score was Romana Rice with nine points while Lauren Templeton connected for eight points. Summer Miller pitched in with seven and Allie Miller hit for six. Caleigh Phillips and Landry Buchanan each scored two points and Kelsey Vandruff hit a free throw for a point.

The Knights hit just 14 of 45 field goals and 7-16 foul shots while the Blue Devils connected on 27 off 64 shots including four 3-pointers and made 8-19 from the free throw line.

St. Marys also controlled the boards with a 29-16 advantage.
