PC Boys Clipped by Cameron

The Wildcats came out playing tough basketball at Cameron on Friday night December 27, and was only down 15-12 after the first period, but the Dragons went to work in the second period and held Paden City to six points while scoring 27 of their own on their way to a 54-45 win.

After the tough second quarter, Paden City settled down and outscored the Dragons 25-16 in the last half of action, but it was to little to late for the Cats as they fell to (0-5) on the season with their next outing a home contest vs Magnolia on January 4, as they continue to search for their first win.

The Wildcats got a goot scoring night from freshman Joel Moore who hit for 14 points including a 3-pointer and 4-4 from the line. Walter Joy a senior guard who has had the hot hand lately led a trio of players who scored eight points as he included two 3-pointers in his total. Jason Anderspn a senior center added eight and Carson Palmer also knocked in eight. Ty Cain hit a basket and a free throw for three points and Nicholas Clarke added a basket to finish the scoring for the Cats.

Cameron had three players hit double figures led by Noah Neely and Zane Clutter who scored 13 including three 3-pointers each. Jessop Broughton added 10 markers for the (3-2) Dragons.

Trevor Beresford grabbed eight rebounds and added three blocks and three steals for the Dragons.
