Wildcats Fall to Blue Devils on the Road

Paden City gave up 69 points and for the second straight game allowed four players to score in double digits as Beallsville came in to Bob Burton Gymnasium and went homew with a 30 point win 69-39. The Wildcats suffered shooting woes once again but the lack of good defense allowed the Blue Devils to have their way and drop the Cats to 0-2 early in the season.

One bright spot for coach Dave Riggles squad was senior Jason Anderson who knocked in 14 points while grabbing 13 rebounds and blocking seven shots. He was backed in the scoring column by freshman Joel Moore who added 11 markers for the Cats. Senior Walter Joy hit for seven points on the nights and had three assists and two steals. Junior center Ty Cain hit for five points and sophomore Brandon Hizer added a three pointer to end the Wildcat Scoring.
