Paden City’s Jason Anderson was named the Tyler Star News’ athlete of the week

Paden City Senior all-sports athlete Jason Anderson is the Tyler Star News athlete of the Week for December 18, 2019.

The Wildcats dropped their first two games on the season, but the effort from Anderson gives the coaches reason to believe there will be better days ahead.

In the Cats opener against Valley Anderson grabbed 10 rebounds while blocking seven shots and scoring seven points.

On the road against Beallsville the Wildcats suffered a 30 point loss but Anderson showed he can play with the competition as he scored 14 points, blocked six shots and grabbed 13 rebounds in an all-around good performance.
