Wildcats’ Weber Named OVAC Player of the Year

Paden City’s Cora Anderson, left, and Hope Weber pose for a picture during the OVAC All-Star Volleyball Match recently. A senior, Anderson was selected to play in the all-star game while Weber, a junior, was named the OVAC Class A player of the year.

On Sunday, November 17, Paden City was well represented at the annual OVAC All-Star Volleyball match. The game pitted the stars from West Virginia against the Ohio stars. Chosen to represent Paden City in the contest was senior Cora Anderson a four year player for the Wildcats. Anderson contributed to the West Virginia win with six digs and two assists.

At the match the OVAC presented the Player of the year with Paden City all-state player Hope Weber being chosen for the second time in the past three seasons. Congratulations to both players on their accomplishments.
