“We played tough baseball, when we were down we came back, Dyan Seckman came in to pitch for us and did a nice job. We made some big plays in the field, Jake Rice and Tyler West combined to get a runner stealing second and Gage Huffman made a great thrwo to cut down a runner at home. Both of those plays were huge,” Tyler coach Robby Jones said. “Magnolia played hard and I tip my hat to the way they came back from five down in the seventh to take a one point lead. Coach Cisar ( Dave) is always tough to beat and tonight we just happened to get one for the win.”

There were several big plays in the contest but none bigger than McKeever’s grand slam in the seventh to give the Blue Eagles the win. For the Silver Knights the throw from Huffman to get the runner at home and West’ double down the third baseline stand as their highlights.
